Oli was our first choice for our 30th birthday party at Oxford's Bodleian Library and he was absolutely fantastic! From the moment he arrived, he had everyone completely captivated, we were left speechless. I had no preconceived notion about what I wanted, I just asked her to 'make me look beautiful'. And she delivered! Amineh is friendly, chatty, quick to put you at ease, and she knows her stuff! A soft glam look went great with the outfits I'd chosen for the photoshoot, and I wasn't caked in layers of powder as I have been with other makeup artists in the past. I would highly recommend Amineh, and I look forward to trying some of her other services in the future. Bonus points for correctly pronouncing my name, too!! Amineh is an absolute superstar and I highly recommend her services! She did all the hair and make-up at my wedding in January - for myself, my mum, my bridal party and our flower girls, as well as doing the groom's (long!) hair too. From the moment we first met she was incredibly professional and enthusiastic, and we always felt like we were in good hands. I had a hair and make-up trial 2 months before the wedding, as well as dermaplaning and massage treatment in the week of, and my husband also had a hair trial. Amineh put together a look for each of us that we absolutely loved, even though we gave her very little direction. Even though getting married can make you feel like you're under a spotlight all the time, Amineh made us both feel so special and positive about ourselves, which was really wonderful. On the day of, Amineh arrived before the sun was up, and early - despite the storm that was raging! She worked almost non-stop for over 5 hours, making us feel relaxed and looked-after the whole time. I can't emphasise enough how wonderful it was to have her there as a smiling, calming presence - she kept us on time and I can honestly say I've never felt happier with how I looked. I wish she could do my hair and make up every week!! I had the pleasure of meeting Amineh yesterday when she done my make up for my photos. From start to finish she was chatty, friendly, lovely and funny. She kept my nerves down as I was very nervous and she filled me up with lots of excitement. She talked me through everything she was doing so I had an idea and we discussed all colour choices in detail to make sure it suited me, my skin tone and personality. (Which was spot on!) When we done my make up reveal, I was amazing my the transformation! To the point I wanted to cry. The way Amineh had done my make up was incredible. I don’t recognise myself and most importantly I felt beautiful. She made me feel beautiful. You honestly can’t get better than these two. Neil is hilarious, creative, and the kind of guy who keeps everyone in check, while Lisa is the fun, bubbly, imaginative queen every couple needs! We’re beyond thankful for everything they did for us on our wedding day. We were lucky enough to have an engagement shoot with them beforehand, and they had us laughing until our bellies hurt. We left that shoot feeling amazing and so excited to see what they’d captured. On the wedding day itself, Lisa stayed with me while Neil was with my husband, which was perfect. It meant we both got to see what the other was up to in those special pre-ceremony moments. Our photos were ready just over a week later and they were perfect, everything we could have ever dreamed of. They blended in so naturally, it honestly felt like they were part of the family. From our very first meeting, they instantly put us at ease, and we knew straight away that we were in the best hands. We decided to have an engagement photoshoot so we could get to know them and practice in front of the camera and we had such a wonderful time! They kept in contact in the lead up to the wedding and we loved their Instagram as they gave so many tips and we got to see how they captured so many other gorgeous weddings. On the wedding morning, Lisa joined me and the bridesmaids, capturing the most beautiful, natural shots while also calming our nerves and helping any way she could. Meanwhile, Neil was with the groomsmen, snapping fantastic photos and making sure everyone felt comfortable in front of the camera. Throughout the entire day, they were simply wonderful, blending in seamlessly, capturing every special moment, and guiding us gently when needed. One of the highlights was when they whisked us away to the beach for the most epic sunset photos which we will absolutely treasure forever. L&N aren’t just incredibly talented photographers; they’re warm, thoughtful, and funny! They help towards the whole day moving like clockwork but also adapt to your wedding to make sure your day goes exactly how you dream. All of our guests loved them so much. Their website was so easy to use and they offer so many wonderful ways to capture your day! (We love our gifs and film photos so much!!) When we received all our photos we couldn’t believe how perfect they were. The joy of the day shines through each and every shot and that’s all thanks to L&N. They really are an absolute joy to have by your side on your wedding day!! Book them!! What to do when your partner (and several family members) are nervous in front of the camera and always hides? Hire Lisa and Neil! When we met Lisa and Neil at a wedding event, we hit it off straight away. They made us feel relaxed, welcome and heard. Between Neil's sense of humour and Lisa's kindness, even our young son was hooked on these awesome people. We knew they were the right people to capture our day. This was reiterated when we had our engagement shoot with them. We loved being able to use these photos for our wedding website and our signage on the day. We had several meets leading up to the day to discuss the running, our ideas and their suggestions. Their experience was invaluable when we began having venue stress and wedding organising wobbles. They were always on hand to give suggestions, a friendly word of encouragement, or when all else failed, cute cat pictures! On our wedding day, Neil was the ultimate hype man. He even managed to get photos of my camera avoiding mother-in-law (which has provided the family with a significant amount of entertainment). Lisa arrived to myself, bringing calming vibes to what had been a stressful morning. It had rained, and was still raining heavily. They took the weather in their stride and ensured we still had beautiful candid photos of our guests meeting and sharing our day with us. It's so special to be able to look back and see moments we hadn't realised were happening. The rain continued throughout most of the day, so we hoped in the car and headed to the Arcade for some portraits. Our favourite photos have to be our evening photos. Our first dance photos capture the movement, enjoyment and love between ourselves and the celebration of our guests. Taking our second looks in their stride, they suggested 'paparazzi' style shots which are our favourite photos of the day, capturing our personalities perfectly.
