A MESSAGE FROM THE BRIDE
OUR LOVE STORY: We met at a work event and stayed in touch, even as life took us to different places. Six years later at Christmas, we were in the same place and we finally met for a drink and something just clicked. We saw each other the next day, and then again, and again. From that moment on, our story truly began, and we’ve been growing our lives together ever since.

The Engagement
On a spring afternoon at Anglesey Abbey, We set up a cosy picnic by the wildflower meadow. With the gardens in full bloom, Jake pulled out a ring and popped the question. I said yes, and just like that, their next chapter began.

OUR CEREMONY was held in the drawing room at Barrington Hall, Cambridge, surrounded by close loved ones. We exchanged vows between two beautifully decorated Christmas trees, creating a truly intimate setting. Writing our own vows made the moment even more personal and unforgettable.

The Reception
After the intimate ceremony, friends and family joined us for a Christmas dinner and a lit Christmas pudding, not forgetting singing ‘We wish you a Merry Christmas’. We then carried on into the cosy, Christmas decorated drawing room, where we danced as a small choir sang carols by the tree. With candles glowing, mince pies and mulled wine in hand, guests relaxed and soaked up the festive, intimate vibe.

FOR OUR HONEYMOON, we chose Gran Canaria and turned it into a family holiday. We spent a full week soaking up the sun, relaxing on the beach, exploring local markets, and enjoying the local food. It was the perfect mix of fun, rest, and quality time together.
