From the first appointment trying on dresses and finding my dream dress, Jo makes you feel so at ease, beautiful and confident in any dress. The atmosphere in the boutique is calm, relaxing and spacious which is so helpful when you're trying on so many dresses. The glass of fizz makes the appointment even more special! The experience doesn't stop once you've found your dress, Jo is on hand to alter it and make it fit you perfectly, help you with accessories and also be there to answer any questions you have big or small throughout the whole process. After a few disappointing appointments with other bridal shops, we contacted Jo on a Saturday evening and she kindly opened her store to me and my entourage on the Sunday early morning. Would recommend 100% Went to an open event and booked in for a try on. I had a clear picture in my mind, which I then didnt like when trying on. Jo was fantastic and found me the dress of my dreams that I never would have picked for myself. It was a perfect fit then and there, was destined to be. Charli was on it with timings and schedule, even helping with the little bits and bobs that help the smooth running of a wedding morning! Most appreciated. Charli created the hair style I loved on my trial and recreated it again on my wedding day. It was beautiful and lasted alllll day. My bridesmaids all came with Inspo pictures they loved for their own hair, on the day, which Charli recreated beautifully and all in amazing time! We even had some chill time at one point :) Our hair lasted all day and we couldn’t have found anyone better to spend the morning with us and join in. I had various family around on the day and Charli fitted in wonderfully with them all, creating a lush atmosphere. Charli scheduled everything to perfection fitting everyone in. I had 5 bridesmaids, 1 junior bridesmaid and my mum had a refresh blow dry. I honestly can’t recommend Charli enough. We had the pleasure to host one of our beautiful wedding parties at the Fellows House in Cambridge. Milena (the events manager) was fantastic and helped plan a very smooth yet wonderful day. The food was really good value for the money especially given its high quality and flavour, all of our guests (including ourselves) thoroughly enjoyed it! We also reserved the observatory (the garden) for photos and for speeches. It’s a beautiful area for this, especially with how amazing the weather was. A lot of our guests enjoyed having their drinks out here. The team dealt with our guests and served food with no issues. All of our guests (might I add we had a HUGE guest list) were very impressed with the service provided. Milena, Pam, Frazer, Kaila, Dollie, Jason, Krushn, Bekh, Vanessa, the service and kitchen teams all deserve a raise! They were all faultless and very professional, everyone worked so well together and made our special day even more special. Thank you again everyone for the lovely day, we couldn’t have picked a better venue! Fantastic experience overall! Service was exceptional. Our dining experience @ Folio was made extra special by our wait staff Beth! Our steaks were prepared exactly as ordered (medium rare) and our pomme frites were still hot and crunchy.
