The events manager was incredibly helpful in ensuring everything ran smoothly. The food was excellent—both in quality and value—and was enjoyed by all our guests. We reserved the garden for photos and speeches, and it turned out to be a perfect choice, especially with the beautiful weather. Many guests enjoyed spending time there with their drinks. Despite the large number of attendees, the team handled everything flawlessly. Milena, Pam and the entire service and kitchen staff, were professional, attentive, and truly made the day extra special. We had the pleasure to host one of our beautiful wedding parties at the Fellows House in Cambridge. Milena (the events manager) was fantastic and helped plan a very smooth yet wonderful day. The food was really good value for the money especially given its high quality and flavour, all of our guests (including ourselves) thoroughly enjoyed it! We also reserved the observatory (the garden) for photos and for speeches. It’s a beautiful area for this, especially with how amazing the weather was. A lot of our guests enjoyed having their drinks out here. The team dealt with our guests and served food with no issues. All of our guests (might I add we had a HUGE guest list) were very impressed with the service provided. Milena, Pam, Frazer, Kaila, Dollie, Jason, Krushn, Bekh, Vanessa, the service and kitchen teams all deserve a raise! They were all faultless and very professional, everyone worked so well together and made our special day even more special. Thank you again everyone for the lovely day, we couldn’t have picked a better venue! Fantastic experience overall! Service was exceptional. Our dining experience @ Folio was made extra special by our wait staff Beth! Our steaks were prepared exactly as ordered (medium rare) and our pomme frites were still hot and crunchy. Even from our first visit, we fell in love with the venue and grounds, and knew we wanted to get married there. The bridal suite in particular completely blew us away, it is such a stunning room! After booking, it was great to have lots of opportunities to visit the venue during open days and showcases, as well as the included tickets to attend a dinner date and try the delicious food. All the staff we had contact with in the lead up to our day were also fantastic and extremely helpful and attentive, nothing ever felt like too much trouble. Our wedding manager Laura was amazing and helped us so much throughout the planning. We don’t know what we would’ve done without her! On the day she made sure it all ran smoothly and ensured everything we discussed beforehand was taken care of so we didn’t have to worry. All the staff on our day were incredible too and we had lots of compliments from guests about how friendly and accommodating they were throughout the day. Many said it was one of the best weddings they’d been to! It really does feel exclusively yours for the day and made it perfect for us. We want to say a big thank you to Holmewood Hall for making it the best day we could’ve wished for! We could not recommend Holmewood Hall enough for anybody's wedding day. The staff were so attentive all day and there was nothing too big or too small for them to help us with. The day ran so smoothly, thanks to our wedding coordinator, Lee. The venue is absolutely stunning and makes for a beautiful background for our wedding photos. The food we chose was delicious and we liked the fact that we were able to choose two starters, two mains and two desserts for people to select from, not all venues we looked around offered this amount of choice. We also paid for the outdoor games package and this went down a treat with our guests, everyone loved the hoopla especially! We had the pleasure of getting married at Holmewood Hall last week. From the moment we saw the beautiful house and tasted the canapes we knew this is where we would get married. Lee, our wedding co-ordinator was fantastic and made the contract and all expectations clear from the beginning. Communication was fantastic throughout. We loved the food and the tasting dinner. On the day, the catering team introduced themselves and ensured that we were happy throughout our meal. It was a warm day and everyone did what they could to keep us cool.
